Ford today claimed victories with Fiesta cars in rounds of the world’s two premier rally championships.
• Ford World Rally Team’s Jari-Matti Latvala and Miikka Anttila won Wales Rally GB in a Fiesta RS World Rally Car.
• The Finns led this 10th round of the FIA World Rally Championship from early in the three-day event to win for the second consecutive season by 27.8 seconds.
• In Ukraine, Castrol Ford Team Türkiye’s Yağız Avcı and Bahadır Gücenmez won Yalta Rally, round 10 of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge, in a Fiesta S2000 by 3min 12.4sec.
Both winning Fiesta cars were built by Ford’s rally partner, M-Sport, at its premises in north-west England.
