Drivers said at the final arrival

Paolo Andreucci: “Race 2 has gone really well. We’ve made some changes on the car, yesterday we had some little problem. We did a good tyre choice in order not to be penalized in any case. One of the toughest races in these past years”

Giandomeico Basso: “We did a very good Race 1, I was fast and satisfied with the results. In Race 2 we’ve penalized by a wrong evaluation of the weather, which led to a wrong tyre choice. We cannot understand the puncture we suffered, it happened in a flat stretch with no cuts nor stones. We will try to understand together with the team what happened”.

Alessandro Perico: “We’ve been really fast, we didn’t make mistakes, nor in the driving or the set up or strategies in this race that I can consider one of the most difficult in my career. I’m satisfied because I’m getting faster also on tarmac”.

Simone Campedelli: “An unexpected result. Today it’s been a difficult day and we tried to find a good performance. When it was foggy I didn’t push. This is a very important podium and a great start for me”.

Paolo Andreucci: “ Yesterday we had some problems that we solved. We were able to make a good tyre choice which helped us to exploit our car at the best. We have a great team and this has been proved solving the problems quickly and well. The gaps between drivers have been above average”.

Alessandro Perico: “Happy with our second place, sorry for Giandomenico (Basso) because it would have been nice to be able to fight till the end on equal terms”.

Simone Campedelli: “Sanremo is one of my favorite races, because I used to come here as a spectator 15 years ago. I was trying to find the right feeling after an injure quite painful and I raced with my pace. The rain changed our plans and the result obtained is really important to raise our spirit. Our intention is to continue the Italian Rally Championship”.
