Škoda Auto today unveiled at the Paris motorshow a design concept entitled "Škoda Fabia Paris" based on the Fabia Combi (estate) road car. The study clearly hints at a performance orientated Fabia road car and this design concept appears to be a precursor to a Fabia RS road car based on the hatchback version of the award winning supermini. Škoda Auto must produce 2500 Fabias at 4m of length or over in order to use the car as a base model for a forthcoming World Rally Car, just as Peugeot did with the 206GT. Clearly we will see a similar styling concept carried through to the Fabia hatchback with bumpers just 40mm longer required to bring it into the regulation length, unless of course the next Skoda World Rally Car will be an estate!.. pictures follow.
