Since the year 2001 we have seen several facelifts, but no generation change. Actually an unusually long time span for a Japanese company. Anyway, this 2008 GE generation Impreza is the more strikingly new, even a hatchback. More about this design is already described in the Impreza S14 WRC chapter. It's pros and cons also seem to apply to the groupN version. Though the good news is that after their withdrawal from WRC Subaru is considering to enter the fascinating IRC series, to which the car would have to be this groupN version.
