WRC Solberg crashes out @ 06:46 AM - Petter Solberg crashed out around 400 metres into the SS12 Panzerplatte Lang stage. Co-Driver Phil Mills has been taken to hospital for precautionary checks and the stage has been interrupted.

WRC Panizzi crashes out @ 05:00 AM - Gilles Panizzi crashed out of the Rallye Deutschland on the 9th special stage, the first of the second leg. Panizzi's Mitsubishi hit a post and damaged the drivers door of the car. Panizzi needed help to get out of the car and is being taken to hospital with a suspected broken arm. Brother and co-driver Herve Panizzi is reported to be fine.
