WRC Sainz's title bid in tatters @ 06:10 AM - Carlos Sainz has retired from the Wales Rally GB after his car left the road on the Trawscoed test, stage three of the event. The Spaniard had been aggravated earlier with a in-car TV camera electrical glitch which caused him to leave the start of SS2 late. The Madrdid-man's bid for title hat-trick is now over.
