IRC After leg1: New ERC leader! @ 07:30 PM - Joan Vinyes tried repairs to his car at the finish line of the last stage. We have to wait for confirmation if he has retired. He certainly lost his 7th place. With day points given in the ERC we do have a new championship leader: 1st Kopecky, 44pts; 2nd Ketomaa, 39pts; 3rd Breen, 35pts; 4th Delecour, 32pts; below that no changes, day winner Kubica is provisionally 13th in the championship.

It seems being in an RRC car and always getting the tyres right helped, but then of course someone drove that car too. Vinyes dropped 2 places and handed 2WD lead to the 2007 IRC Champ.
