IRC B SS18 - Snijers replies @ 08:42 PM - Despite strong drive by Magalhaes, Snijers looks good to defend his place. Good fight for 10th, Romain/Mitsubishi lost it to Oleksowicz/Ford in a mistake in SS17, but in 18 Fontana/Peugeot elbows ahead by 4s. Results after SS18:

10th= Romain/Gilsoul, Mitsubishi, +8m59s2

1st= Loix/Miclotte, Skoda, 1h59m48s3;
2nd= Kopecky/Stary, Skoda, +29s6;

3rd= Neuville/Klinger, Peugeot, +1h44s;

9th= Betti/Scalvini, Peugeot, +5m50s2;
10th= Romain/Gilsoul, Mitsubishi, +7m26s4

IRC B SS13 - Kopecky once more @ 03:07 PM - Though no big gaps on this mini stage. But the stage itself is quite interesting. It is across the border in France for a start. It further is no superspecial, but like a slalom/autotest with cars passing the road up and down twice before the next car starts. Something different! Results after SS13:
1st= Loix/Miclotte, Skoda, 1h45m43s5;
2nd= Kopecky/Stary, Skoda, +28s1;
3rd= Neuville/Klinger, Peugeot, +1h38s7;

9th= Betti/Scalvini, Peugeot, +5m22s;
10th= Romain/Gilsoul, Mitsubishi, +5m53s8

IRC B SS11 - Cancelled, too many spectators @ 01:39 PM - Top3 have completed the stage before the stage was stopped for safety reasons. All other cars cross stage at road speeds, Arai's Subaru breaks its suspension nevertheless. So gaps slightly updated with Kopecky beating Loix on the stage. Results after SS11:
1st= Loix/Miclotte, Skoda, 1h29m24s7;
2nd= Kopecky/Stary, Skoda, +29s7;

10th= Romain/Gilsoul, Mitsubishi, +5m11s1

IRC B SS10 - Kopecky wins stage @ 01:12 PM - And Neuville drops around 15s with a spin. This is getting easy for Skoda. Results after SS10:
1st= Loix/Miclotte, Skoda, 1h23m20s5;
2nd= Kopecky/Stary, Skoda, +30s3;
3rd= Neuville/Klinger, Peugeot, +1h18s5;

IRC B SS9 - Strongly slimmed field @ 11:34 AM - The classis Kemmelberg stage was a bit calmer after this morning's dramas. Results after SS9:
1st= Loix/Miclotte, Skoda, 1h13m31s5;
2nd= Kopecky/Stary, Skoda, +30s9;
3rd= Neuville/Klinger, Peugeot, +1h03s9;

8th= Magalhaes/Magalhaes, Peugeot, +4m06s3;
9th= Betti/Scalvini, Peugeot, +4m12s4;
10th= Romain/Gilsoul, Mitsubishi, +4m41s1

IRC B SS8 - Meeke's ditch, Loix's rally @ 10:58 AM - Apparently it was quite a big one, rolled in a fast corner. Tsjoen is also reported to have been an off. Betti missing at stage end. Seems a tricky rally this year. Loix now in a clear lead with Neuville being surprisingly Peugeot's strongest points hope. Results after SS8:
1st= Loix/Miclotte, Skoda, 1h08m35s9;
2nd= Kopecky/Stary, Skoda, +29s7;
3rd= Neuville/Klinger, Peugeot, +58s5;
4th= Casier/Caesemaeker, Skoda, +2m07s6;

IRC B SS7 - Tsjoen out from 5th @ 10:51 AM - Raeson for Tsjoen's retirement unconfirmed. Also van den Heuvel is missing from 9th. Magalhaes more gearbox change time penalties. Meanwhile Meeke took back the 0.1s he lost in the last stage last night. Results after SS7:
1st= Loix/Miclotte, Skoda, 1h01m55s6;
2nd= Meeke/Nagle, Peugeot, +5s7;
3rd= Kopecky/Stary, Skoda, +24s1;

5th= Casier/Caesemaeker, Skoda, +1m52s3;
6th= Mikkelsen/Floene, Ford, +2m13s;
7th= Snijers/Cokelaere, Peugeot, +2m26s6;
8th= Solowow/Baran, Ford, +3m13s7;
9th= Betti/Scalvini, Peugeot, +3m32s3;
10th= Magalhaes/Magalhaes, Peugeot, +3m40s8

IRC Meeke off SS8! @ 10:48 AM - Before SS7 is finished we are getting news that 1st car on the road in SS8 is in fact off the road! Not the best news for the rally and the championship. Now the big fight for the lead is over and with another Skoda 2nd this now seems to be Loix's rally. Also for the championship another Meeke off can not help the title battle.

IRC B SS5 - Loix vs Meeke @ 08:27 PM - Meeke wins his 2nd out of 5 stages so far, but Loix won the last 3. No changes in the top10 already after SS4? That's a new IRC record, normally only WRC can do that. But the leader's gap actually narrowed, still exciting! Results after SS5:

IRC B SS4 - Nightmare stage for Proton @ 08:06 PM - While both Protons of Chris Atkinson & Tom Cave went missing for yet unconfir,ed reasons, Alister McRae's Proton finished the stage but running on 3 cylinders. The car did not sound like a blown engine, but reminded of the engine management problems the team had in Barum last year. The other big news is that Juho Hanninen parked in a ditch. Results after SS4:
1st= Loix/Miclotte, , 43m04s5;
2nd= Meeke/Nagle, Peugeot, +6s7;

10th= van den Heuvel/Kolman, Mitsuibishi, +1m56s8

IRC B SS3 - Loix now in his rythm @ 05:38 PM - Loix beats Meeke by near 5s and takes the lead. The surfqce seems quite slippy, maybe helped by the weather being warm and dry since a while now, turning the stages dusty. Results after SS3:
1st= Loix/Miclotte, , 27m24s1;
2nd= Meeke/Nagle, Peugeot, +2s8;
3rd= Kopecky/Stary, Skoda, +9s4;

10th= Magalhaes/Magalhaes, Peugeot, +1m07s6

IRC B SS2 - Loix bites back @ 04:53 PM - ...but Meeke keeps lead. Punctures for Mikkelsen and Betti. Strong time by Tsjoen who fears he might have a gearbox problem. Results after SS2:
1st= Meeke/Nagle, Peugeot, 19m24s1;
2nd= Loix/Miclotte, Skoda, +1s8;
3rd= Kopecky/Stary, Skoda, +8s5;

IRC B SS1 - Sarrazin does a Duval @ 00:14 AM - Dramatic start to Geko Ypres Rally. Sarrazin crashed out in the early part of the stage. Arai lost 9min with an off, Cave 5min with an off, Kopecky also reported a small off and Fontana had a puncture. At the front it could be a repeat of last year's battle with Meeke leading Loix. Results after SS1:
1st= Meeke/Nagle, Peugeot, 15m49s4;
2nd= Loix/Miclotte, Skoda, +2s2;
