A 12 year old boy and an adult with head injuries are expected to be released later today whilst a 13 year old girl is due to undergo surgery on her legs and another adult with back injuries is expected to spend another night in hospital.

 Accident Update @ 04:36 PM - The organisers of the Network Q Rally of Great Britain have issued a statement concerning the accident involving Carlos Sainz, which has led to the cancellation of the 11th and 12th special stages. 3 people including 2 children are thought to have serious injuries.

 More on accident @ 03:30 PM - According to news source Ananova, 15 people have been injured on stage 11 after Carlos Sainz slid wide on the stage. Early unconfirmed reports say that two people have serious injuries and paramedics have been joined by air ambulances. Spokesman John Horton said "All medical facilities on the stage and two Air Ambulances were deployed immediately. Special Stage 12 (Trawscoed) has been cancelled and all cars are returning to the Service Area at Felindre."

 Sainz hurts spectator @ 02:37 PM - News is just in that Carlos Sainz has rolled his Focus WRC on the second run through Brechfa, hitting a spectator in the process. The stage has been delayed; Sainz got out of the stage, but the car is severely damaged.
