IRC P/AC SS11 - Mikkelsen vs Hänninen @ 06:15 PM - Mikkelsen closes to within 6s of leader Hänninen! Behind that all positions seem settled, though the last top10 spot is very closely fought between Silva, Vale & Nutahara. Results after SS11:

10th= Silva/Cordeiro, Subaru, +4m54s

IRC P/AC SS9 - Volcano cancelled @ 04:01 PM - Sadly the 2nd run over the volcano stage has been cancelled. It is not quite clear why this has been cancelled, but originally the stage had a 30min delay for delays trying to recover stricken cars, including Wilks' 207, from the first run over this very narrow stage. But Sandell manages to collect a 1min time penalty, dropping him 2 places.

IRC P/AC SS8 - Hänninen replies @ 03:57 PM - Hänninen takes about the same amount of time back that Mikkelsen stole of him the previous stage. As this stage was cancelled on the 1st loop the road was not very rough and no dramas. Results after SS8:

6th= Bouffier/Panseri, Peugeot, +1m48s;
7th= Moura/Eiro, Mitsubishi, +2m07s3;
8th= Lopes/Magalhaes, Subaru, +3m07s1;
9th= Pascoal/Ramalho, Mitsubishi, +4m05s7;
10th= Vale/Madeiros, Mitsubishi, +4m25s7

IRC P/AC SS7 - Mikkkelsen closes gap @ 02:26 PM - Quite drama free stage, despite the drivers complaining of the track being soft and rocks start appearing. Mikkelsen wins stage by 1.4s from Hänninen. At long last a good time from Bouffier, who promptly passes Moura and closes on Sandell. Results after SS7:
1st= Hänninen/Markkula, Skoda, 42m07s6;

10th= Nutahara/Ichino, Subaru, +3m28s1

IRC P/AC SS5 - cancelled @ 11:58 AM - Stage is cancelled, farting cows on road cause too much CO2. Next stage will be the fantastic vulcano one!

IRC P/AC SS4 - Day2 starts very wet @ 11:36 AM - Stage started very wet, it has stopped raining but more is expected. Mikkelsen overtakes Magalhaes, while Wilks & Bouffier also gain one place. Meanwhile Arai in the new Subaru R4 has retired. Results after SS4:
