IRC LV SS11 Juniors - Ingram out @ 12:14 AM - Chris Ingram retired about 1/3rd into SS11 with a mechanical problem. The Junior title fight is still hot, though. If Griebel wins it is his title, but he has Forsström hot on his heals and 2nd for Griebel will lead to title for Ingram.

IRC LV SS11 @ 11:58 AM - Vorobjovs retires from 5th with a blown engine. Lukyanuk and Plangi are tied 2nd fastest in the stage, but Sirmacis is in control. Results after SS11:
1st= Sirmacis/Simins, Skoda, 1h23m15s;
2nd= Lukyanuk/Kapustin, Mitsubishi, +54s6;
3rd= Plangi/Sarapuu, Mitsubishi, +1m23s2;

9th= Chuchala/Dymurski, Subaru, +5m23s;
10th= Botka/Szeles, Citroen, +5m35s8

IRC LV SS10 @ 09:04 AM - Kajto's engine stalled for no apparent reason. Now it looks hard for him to fight for 3rd. JUNIOR Ingram had a minor off and now is 10.7s behind. Results after SS10:
1st= Sirmacis/Simins, Skoda, 1h17m43s7;
2nd= Lukyanuk/Kapustin, Mitsubishi, +49s1;

9th= Svilis/Pukis, Mitsubishi, +4m50s9;
10th= Chuchala/Dymurski, Subaru, +5m05s

IRC LV SS9 @ 08:37 AM - More action in this stage. Plangi edges past Kajto into 3rd o/a. Larsen rolls and loses 3min and 7th place. JUNIOR: Ingram has dust and loses 3sec to Griebel. Results after SS9:
1st= Sirmacis/Simins, Skoda, 1h06m21s3;

10th= Chuchala/Dymurski, Subaru, +4m05s3

IRC LV SS8 @ 07:57 AM - Day starts drama free. Only Plangi reduces gap to Kajetanowicz to just 0.3s. JUNIOR Ingram and Griebel exactly tied! Results after SS8:
1st= Sirmacis/Simins, Skoda, 57m35s;
2nd= Lukyanuk/Kapustin, Mitsubishi, +35s4;
3rd= Kajetanowicz/Baran, Ford, +54s2;

IRC LV SS6&7 - day1 @ 05:34 PM - Two follow up runs on the same street stage, so we can only cover them as one. Not too much happening, but enough for Kajto to snatch 3rd from Plangi. Amazingly Lukyanuk in the heavy Mitsubishi wins both rounds. In the Junior title battle.... Results after day1 (SS6&7):
1st= Sirmacis/Simins, Skoda, 51m57s5;
2nd= Lukyanuk/Kapustin, Mitsubishi, +30s8;
3rd= Kajetanowicz/Baran, Ford, +45s9;

7th= Larsen/Eriksen, Ford, +1m31s8;
8th= Kisiels/Ronis, Skoda, +2m14s8;
9th= Botka/Szeles, Citroen, +2m51s5;
10th= Chuchala/Dymurski, Subaru, +2m56s6

IRC LV SS5 @ 02:07 PM - With only 2 superspecials left, Sirmacis wins every real stage today! Kajto now without problems while Lukyanuk says road is badly cut up, so he drove carefully (it is repeat of SS1). Jeets crashed out. Results after SS5:
1st= Sirmacis/Simins, Skoda, 49m04s2;
2nd= Lukyanuk/Kapustin, Mitsubishi, +32s8;
3rd= Plangii/Sarapuu, Mitsubishi, +43s9;
4th= Kajetanowicz/Baran, Ford, +47s8;
5th= Vorobjovs/Malnieks, Mitsubishi, +1m14s2;
6th= Habaj/Spentany, Ford, +1m14s5;
7th= Larsen/Eriksen, Ford, +1m23s5;
8th= Kisiels/Ronis, Skoda, +2m06s9;
9th= Botka/Szeles, Citroen, +2m10s3;
10th= Chuchala/Dymurski, Subaru, +2m41s3

IRC LV SS4 @ 01:18 PM - Same stage as SS3, but when SS3 turned right twice, this one went straight on, about 20% different and 1km shorter. Kajto has earlier problems sorted but had to reset car mid stage for power steering problem. Results after SS4:
1st= Sirmacis/Simins, Skoda, 42m35s8;
2nd= Lukyanuk/Kapustin, Mitsubishi, +24s;
3rd= Plangii/Sarapuu, Mitsubishi, +34s3;
4th= Kajetanowicz/Baran, Ford, +43s4;
5th= Vorobjovs/Malnieks, Mitsubishi, +1m01s3;
6th= Habaj/Spentany, Ford, +1m05s3;
7th= Larsen/Eriksen, Ford, +1m13s;
8th= Jeets/Toom, Skoda, +1m25s9;
9th= Kisiels/Ronis, Skoda, +1m56s;
10th= Botka/Szeles, Citroen, +1m58s8

IRC LV SS3 @ 09:39 AM - Although very fast stage, here seems a clear advantage for the R5 cars, as Sirmacis really pulled away from Lukyanuk & Plangii now. But bigger news, reason why Kajto is not near the front, he has power and overheating problems. Koltun out. Results after SS3:
1st= Sirmacis/Simins, Skoda, 29m40s4;
2nd= Lukyanuk/Kapustin, Mitsubishi, +17s3;
3rd= Plangii/Sarapuu, Mitsubishi, +22s1;
4th= Kajetanowicz/Baran, Ford, +28s5;
5th= Vorobjovs/Malnieks, Mitsubishi, +44s8;
6th= Habaj/Spentany, Ford, +46s7;
7th= Larsen/Eriksen, Ford, +50s;
8th= Jeets/Toom, Skoda, +1m01s7;
9th= Kisiels/Ronis, Skoda, +1m18s1;
10th= Botka/Szeles, Citroen, +1m29s1

IRC LV SS2 @ 08:48 AM - Another stage win for Sirmacis. Lukyanuk feels the car is too heavy, difficult to judge braking, yet he keeps beating Kajto. Poor Jaroslav Koltun has power steering as well as brake problems. Results after SS2:
1st= Sirmacis/Simins, Skoda, 15m40s7;
2nd= Lukyanuk/Kapustin, Mitsubishi, +2s6;
3rd= Kajetanowicz/Baran, Ford, +5s4;
4th= Plangii/Sarapuu, Mitsubishi, +8s7;
5th= Habaj/Spentany, Ford, +24s2;
6th= Larsen/Eriksen, Ford, +24s3;
7th= Vorobjovs/Malnieks, Mitsubishi, +29s2;
8th= Jeets/Toom, Skoda, +32s9;
9th= Kisiels/Ronis, Skoda, +44s9;
10th= Botka/Szeles, Citroen, +49s8

IRC LV SS1 @ 08:08 AM - Sirmacis got off to a flying start. Lukyanuk and Plangi as well both beat Kajto, proving that the ERC2 Lancer is iondeed a good choice for these fast and flowing stages. Results after SS1:
1st= Sirmacis/Simins, Skoda, 6m33s1;
2nd= Lukyanuk/Kapustin, Mitsubishi, +2s5;
3rd= Plangii/Sarapuu, Mitsubishi, +4s2;
